The Latin American Group for Public Administration is a regional organisation of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS).
Its purpose is to strengthen liaisons among Latin American specialists in Public Administration, both scholars and practitioners; to promote innovative ideas, methods and techniques in order to develop the theory and management of public policies.
Objectives
LAGPA aims to:
- Exchange information on developments in the theory and practice of public administration,
- Develop and encourage the application of theories and methods on public administration within a regional perspective,
- Assess current education strategies in order to create a dynamic, flexible and innovative public administration,
- Adequate Latin American public administrations to global changes.
- Disseminate through conferences and publications, the state of the art of Public Administration
